Frequently Asked Questions

My partner had an affair and I don't know how to cope. Can you help?

Infidelity can cause a lot of pain, hurt and confusion. Some relationships never recover but many do. With the help of the right counsellor the couple can work through it and rebuild the trust and the relationship.

Will counselling save our relationship?

We can't promise that you will reconcile but counselling can help you to look at your options and make appropriate choices. It can also help couples to

  • Understand the relationship they have
  • Discover why they chose each other in the first place
  • Find out what they wanted from their relationship and from each other
  • Understand how they contributed to whatever their relationship has become
  • Discuss what they feel about each other now
  • What they are prepared to do to make it work.

What if we decide to seperate or divorce?

We can support you and your children through a divorce or separation with counselling.

What if my relationship has already ended can I still have counselling?

Yes we will be happy to help you make sense of your experiences and help you move on.

I have other issues or problems I would like to resolve can you help?

We all have experience of working with different issues and client groups. Why not give one of us a call. If the counsellor you choose can't help you they'll advise who can.
